All about the process

The process of working with MNU Marketing and Growing your Visual Business Identity Ever wondered what the process is for a typical design project? Here’s a basic look into my process –

1 // YOU MAKE CONTACT

You’ve seen my work, you love it and you want to see what I can do for you!

2 // I LEARN ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS

For logos and branding, I have an online briefing questionnaire you can complete. For all other projects, we can discuss via email or if you can local we can meet.

3 // I BOOK YOU IN

You make a 50% deposit and I allocate a space in my schedule for your projects.

4 // CREATION BEGINS

I begin researching and creating designs for your review. This is emailed to you. If this is a website or app project, we will work together on color and font schemes and begin work on content and design.

5 // REFINEMENTS

We work together from my initial design concepts to create the perfect result for you. If this is a website or app project, I will work to develop at this change then provide a link for you to review.

6 // CELEBRATE !

Now that your project is complete, you can enjoy the excitement of implementing your new brand / project and bring in more customers.

The business

Having studied and lived most of my life in London working for top notch clients, such as ExxonMobil, The Body Shop, Mercedes, SABMiller and British Telecoms, I moved my life and career overseas after marrying my husband in Turks and Caicos. A lover of design and all things creative, I am passionate about my career in marketing and enjoy working with a wide cross-section of clients from all over the globe.As I currently work from home, my office tends to be wherever I feel I’m at my most productive on that particular day.
Sometimes this is my kitchen, sometimes it’s my desk and sometimes it’s even the dining table! I try and vary the places I work as I feel it helps keep things fresh. On heavy days, working in my office is a must because a dual screen is a lifesaver. If I’m working from my dining table, I get more planning done and if working from a coffee shop, it refreshes me mentally because I’m able to watch the world go by as I work.

Authentic. Being genuine and reliable, trustworthy, and always the same person. Obviously, physical and emotional symptoms occur in women in their period cycle but it’s important to come out of it in a positive way.

I admire people who are comfortable in their own skin have a high enough emotional intelligence to realize what they are and are comfortable with that fact. Also the ability not to judge or opinionate any qualities of a person.

The Collective is a community of women in TCI, hoping to connect women through our similarities, while learning from our differences.

Thank you for taking the time to make this passion project a success.

I’m Indian and born in London, moved to Bangkok and stayed there the first 8 years of my life. Thai being my first language. I then moved back to London and got married and moved to Turks and Caicos in March 2017.

The most influential person in my life is my mom. She is consistently positive and continues to remind me to follow my intuition, as it will always lead me in the right direction. She has to be on my speed dial as she’s probably the only person I can call up several times a day to ask what she’s up to! She is a great goal-setter and has inspired me to set high goals for myself and work hard to reach them.

Success is the ability to do what you love every day. This may sound simple but what you love changes over time and having the ability to change what you are doing to match your passion is true success. As I’ve moved from a big city and adapted to a small space, it makes you realise the more you work on things that make you happy, the more grounded you feel.
As my mom says: write down the great things we are lucky to have and always show gratitude to the universe. For me it’s important I take a step back and spend time with myself. It’s easy to get lost in a sea of self-doubt when we forget to take care of our own needs. I have to do an hour of morning work outs, that gives me a boost to start my day. A little walk on the beach also helps or disconnection from the outside world by doing a 10 minute meditation session really helps me.
I have been very fortunate not to encounter any significant challenges as a result of being female. As a matter of fact, in many instances, being female has been a benefit, not a hindrance.

Life is short so live each day to the fullest and most importantly, be yourself!
